Hot Air Balloon Experience Days: This weekday hot air balloon flight is possibly the loveliest
way to greet the day. Watch the sun rise from the horizon as the
world wakes up, from an unbeatable 2000ft vantage point. Float
through the air up there and let your mind empty of all those
stressful thoughts, as you move with the wind in your hot air
balloon, over the patchwork landscape one of our wonderful
locations throughout the UK.The hot air balloon sunrise flight will
begin with you meeting the crew to sign in. After this you will
have a pre-flight briefing, before you help to inflate the balloon
with the crew. Once all final pre-flight checks have been
completed, it's time for you to climb into the basket and get ready
for take off!
The take off will be beautifully smooth, in fact you probably won't
realise you've actually left solid ground until you realise that
people, cars and houses are getting smaller and smaller. Hot air
balloon flights are peaceful, quiet but for the occasional growl of
the burners that keep you at altitude. After approximately one hour
of flight you will start to prepare for landing. The hot air
balloon flight will finish with you landing, then helping the crew
to pack down the balloon. You will end this fantastic experience by
enjoying a lovely bubbly champagne toast with a commemorative
flight certificate presentation.

The season runs from March through October.
You should try and book your flight three/four weeks in
advance.

Flying Requirements
Minimum Age: 8
Maximum Age: No maximum age, but you must be able
to climb in and out of the basket.
Minimum Height: 4’6”
Maximum Weight: 18 stone
Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible parent or
guardian.
You must not fly if you have recently undergone surgery or suffer
from a significant medical illness, unless you have a certificate
of fitness from your doctor.
You must not fly if you are pregnant or under the influence of
alcohol and/or drugs.
You must declare any impairment, illness or disability prior to
flying.
*Please Note: Flights booked at the Derbyshire, Cheshire/Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcester/Hereford. locations no longer include Champagne, but will include additional flying time in place.

There will be a maximum of 16 people sharing the flight on theday.
Spectators are welcome to watch the balloon launch.
If an alternative launch site is used, they will have to make theirown way there.

What to Wear For This Activity
No Special clothing is required.
Ordinary outdoor clothes suitable for the time of year will be
fine.
You will be taking off and landing in a field so comfortable, solid
shoes are a good idea. No high heels ladies (and gents!!) Ladies
are advised to wear trousers.
Is This Activity Weather Dependent?
Hot Air Ballooning is very weather dependent. There must be wind
speeds of less than 10mph, reasonable visibility and no rain or
snow.
You will be asked to phone the operator prior to the flight to
check conditions. If the weather is unsuitable for whatever reason,
you will simply need to rebook for another convenient day.
